lot more mod madess from qrz

  • I'm still waiting for the JUSTIFIED bans on people who start crap here day in and day out. Looks like if you're a member of a select group of folks you can get away with anything you say: personal attacks, half-truths, suppositions. Yep, it can be who you know. [ß How naïve of you, “Junior”, HI. With Brian/’QeerZ’ it’s who you “Blow”!]
Then again, this isn't a democracy.
But people can vote with their feet.

  • Whoever changed my sig. would have to know my password and I have never given that to anyone. Perhaps I'm wrong. But it seems that this was an inside job by a member of the QRZ staff. Very disappointing.

  • There is no drama intended in my request. I see no other avenue offered here in which to make such a request. Additionally, Fred is the individual I have issues with….
How about for the first time in qrz recorded history, you guys consider cutting me some slack, and leave the drama out of it.
Think of how bad you can abuse me after I'm gone. Many here should find great comfort in that.
    Later man, and 73.

Luke AD4MG in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 30 Apr ‘08

  • The drama was started by a rogue moderator.
Fred has also admitted that he has a personal grudge against some members here. Best to keep things public….
That way they cannot lie their way out of things when you hold them to their words. [ß Don’t be so sure.]

  • Look up N4DIA.
    He was a
mod/admin [actually, Super-Admin/Editor] around here a couple years ago. Did what he wanted and answered to no one. Banned a bunch of folks just because he did not like them or they dared question his actions. Liked to edit posts and send nasty emails without putting his name to them. Turns out he was a convicted felon. Liked to impersonate military officers and ripped off some woman in Ohio. Once that was brought to light he was removed as admin, although his sig. like still says he is one.

  • Wait a minute...
Users have their signatures changed without notice, yet this person has patently false information in his and it's left untouched?
    That's... umm... interesting.

David KN4DS in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 1 May ‘08

  • C'mon... you know that even comments somewhere else on the 'net that some moderators here don't like will get someone banned. [ß One can even get “banned” w/o posting on ‘QeerZ’—or elsewhere, e.g.: Karol VE7KFM]

David KN4DS in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 1 May ‘08

  • Oh, yet another self righteous, shitty little forum prick. [ß Wait till you run afoul of Brian ‘Psycho CROW’ K3VR]

Luke AD4MG in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 1 May ‘08

  • Now you've done it... mod bashing isn't allowed on 'zed...
I used a bad word in another post, and even censored it, and they 'warned' me it was unacceptable...
I can't wait to see how bad they try to drop the hammer on you for using a word like
    'prick'...
    That is
unless the usual 'double standard' no one likes to admit exists in here kicks in, then you'll be banished in a heart beat.

Matt K8WPJ in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 1 May ‘08

  • As to recently reported cases of "moderator mischief", I have to say that I find them amusing. You guys are having fun, so why can't they, once in a while? [ß Because, what was done is called FRAUD, Fred, NOT FUN….]

Fred LLOYD AA7BQ [founder/owner QRZ] condoning FRAUD on ‘QeerZ’, in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 1 May ‘08

  • Well, we just banned AD4MG. [ß When are you going to ban Brian CROW K3VR, your “bait-trolling bastard”, above?]

Fred LLOYD AA7BQ banning the wrong people, as usual, on ‘QeerZ’, in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 1 May ‘08

  • By Fred's own admission, we now cannot be sure who actually posted a message... or what we read is what was originally posted, simply because some moderator might want to have a little fun.
That is, in fact, crossing the line.
Delete posts if you don't like them. Delete signatures if you don't like them.
But don't screw with the content. Ever.
Doing that means instant loss of any credibility….

David KN4DS in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 2 May ‘08

  • I can't believe what I have read. It is unethical and immoral to change so much as one comma or period on a post that isn't yours, unless it's for rules violations, and even then the violations must be duly noted.
    But now it's clear that
even those who never make trouble aren't safe. [ß Or, those who don’t even post.…]

Bill KF4ICL to Fred’s unprincipled/unethical/immoral defence of FRAUD in “Attention Moderators” on QRZ.com 2 May ‘08
